Anyone can sell solar panels. Secure Futures focuses and commits its development effort not only to providing solar power to customers, but also to developing community workforce, regional sustainability, and the intersection of both.
We don’t propose cookie-cutter solutions; each signature community development program reflects our customers’ unique mission and priorities. During the project development process SFLLC works hand-in-hand with each customer to develop a combination of federal and state incentives, direct energy savings to customers, and local investment opportunities. This combination creates funding opportunities for workforce development, sustainability promotions programs, or any number of other related community development programs.
A large solar Photovoltaic (PV) system deployed at your institution not only brings immediate financial benefits to your organization, but it also shows the community that renewable energy can be done. Your institution’s role as a thought leader in sustainability can be expanded in numerous ways. Through the financing of a large PV system, seed funding can set aside for:
- Green jobs work force development in installation, energy efficiency, or other related fields
- Sustainability programs to enable other community members to move towards sustainable energy usage
- Energy efficiency training and rebate programs
- Micro and small loan programs to sustainability related businesses and programs
Community benefits don’t stop there. The price stability on electricity expenditures through a Solar Power Purchase Agreement to customers directly reduces tax burden for public schools and municipalities through lowed utility bills.
